{"id":2525,"date":"2018-01-16T18:39:30","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T18:39:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marcos-fernandez.es\/?p=2525"},"modified":"2019-04-24T15:02:49","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T15:02:49","slug":"nocturno-sinfonico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marcos-fernandez.es\/en\/nocturno-sinfonico\/","title":{"rendered":"30 orchestras"},"content":{"rendered":"<p lang=\"en-US\">Marcos\u2019 work <i>Nocturno Sinf\u00f3nico<\/i> will be programmed by the 30 symphony orchestras of Spain in the next two seasons (2018 \u2013 2020) after winning what is considered the most relevant composition award in Spain &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.contrapunto-fbbva.es\/noticias\/marcos-fernandez-barrero-gana-ix-premio-composicion-aeos-fundacion-bbva\/\">IX Composition Award <em>Association of the Symphony Orchestras of Spain &#8211; BBVA Foundation<\/em><\/a>. He will be the most programmed spanish composer of contemporary music\u00a0in the symphonic concert halls.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">His work is a large nocturne for orchestra which evokes the beauty and mysteries of the night time; it takes inspiration from the magical and mysterious psychological stages happening during the night&#8217;s rest.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">According to Spanish composer and music producer Antoni Parera Fons, who was one of the adjudicators\u00a0<i>Nocturno Sinf\u00f3nico <\/i><i>\u00abis a work written\u00a0<\/i><i>following\u00a0<\/i><i>the <\/i><i>current musical trends<\/i><i> with a<\/i><i><b> great<\/b><\/i><i> <\/i><i><b>sense of color <\/b><\/i><i><b>and <\/b><\/i><i><b>phrasing<\/b><\/i><i>. <\/i><i>It<\/i><i> is inspiring and I predict it <\/i><i><b>will have a long <\/b><\/i><i><b>successful <\/b><\/i><i><b>journey<\/b><\/i><i>; s<\/i><i>ome works<\/i><i> have their debut and farewell, <\/i><i>however<\/i><i> I <\/i><i>believe this one will <\/i><i><b>generate interest in the symphonic world<\/b><\/i><i> as many orchestras <\/i><i>will be interested in <\/i><i>performing it<\/i><i>. <\/i><i>It is <\/i><i><b>wisely<\/b><\/i><i> <\/i><i><b>well<\/b><\/i><i> <\/i><i><b>written, with great knowledge of the orchestra<\/b><\/i><i> and it will be <\/i><i><b>pleasant<\/b><\/i><i><b> to play<\/b><\/i><i>\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">The organization of the competition &#8211; <i>The Association\u00a0of Symphony Orchestras of Spain<\/i> and the <i>BBVA Foundation<\/i> &#8211; gave Marcos an award of 18,000\u20ac. His score, \u00abNocturno Sinf\u00f3nico\u00bb will also be frequently programed around the symphonic concert halls of the country under the aim of promoting his work while bringing new music closer to the audience.
